Should prostitution be legal in your country?

I am writting an academic paper and i am looking for good arguments for and against. I go back and forth. On one hand, I think it sends a terrible message to society that a woman's body is to be bought and sold and it is for pleasure. Clearly it is not. But then again, porn is legal and the only thing that doesn't make it prostitution is that there is a camera filming? Also, if it were legal it could be regulated and women wouldn't be afraid to report a transaction that goes bad. But then again, I don't like the idea of it 😂 I am still on the fence. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!
