Sill question?

Question

This may be a silly question, but if you have a csection, do you still bleed a lot vaginally in the weeks after? Or is it less than a vaginal birth?
My baby is breech so I am kinda waiting to buy some supplies until we see if he flipped before stocking up.

I have NOT had a c section but I only bled for about a week. Definitely thought it’d be more but for me, it was just like a period with lots more healing pain lol. I stocked up in a bunch of overnight super huge pads and barely used them, so if you don’t normally use pads for periods, I do t recommend going over the top unless you can return unopened ones.

I have never had a vaginal delivery. 
With my c-section I still bled 6 weeks. There were some days towards the last couple weeks where it would seem really light and almost over and then come back just like it had been 🙄 pissed me off 😂

I had an emergency c section and I think I bled as much as a vaginal delivery. I bled for about 4 weeks. I think it has less to do with how you deliver and just the fact that your body is getting rid of all of the junk in general

I had an emergency c section. I only bled for about 2 and half weeks and it wasn’t super heavy most of the time. I did have spotting for about 3 weeks after that but nothing a light panty liner couldn’t handle

I had a c section. But I couldn't remember how long I bled for after. Been trying to figure that out because I will be having another one coming up in the next few weeks or so.

I still bled, but I feel like it wasn’t as bad. Of course I have never had a vaginal delivery to compare to. I know that I was shocked that I didn’t bleed as much as I had expected to. I feel like I still bled for the “average” amount of time but it wasn’t very heavy. I’m having another csection in a few weeks and I think I’m just going to get some overnight pads for the first couple of weeks and then regular pads and real thin ones. But probably not very big packs. I did end up using a lot of the ones the hospital sent home with me so I didn’t end up using a lot of my own overnight ones before I ran out of hospital ones and needed a thinner pad.
