Breastfeeding adopted baby?

Has anyone had experiences with this? Hubby and I are adopting a baby sue in June and we really want to breastfeed if possible. I've read a few articles that say it can be done but was wondering if anyone had experiences with this.

My auntie did!  She was on a strong birth control for a few months then came off it and pumped like mad.  She used a supplemental nursing system for a few weeks but then produced enough to exclusively nurse.
