I showed my friend my ultrasound and she asked what it was. I’m not really sure. What is the thing below the baby? I can see the baby’s heartbeat but something is moving in the thing below too. I called my dr but no one has called back yet. I’m worried.

Are you talking about off to the left side looks like it’s pulsating? It’s probably the placenta and it’s pumping blood through the cord to the baby which is why it looks like it’s pulsating.
