Wanting a girl

So I have two beautiful boys and I’m truly blessed to have them, but hubby and I are trying for hub no.3 and really wanting a girl! We have been BD two days before and two days after ovulation and nothing. We’ve only been trying since September so aren’t in a hurry but wondering if we’ll get a positive for Christmas! Has anyone planned and controlled to conceive a girl? I’m ovulating right now and had sex two days before but wondering if we should BD now to give it a better shot but will that give the male sperm more of a chance lol? Thanks in advance
