HCG levels?

From looking at posts on here it looks to me like everyone knows their HCG levels and knows if they are doubling or not. My OB won’t even see me until 8 weeks and doesn’t suggest a blood test, why does everyone else seem to be getting blood tests and finding out their levels?

Unfortunately I’ve suffered RPL (recurrent pregnancy loss) so my docs always check to ensure my progesterone is good and that my numbers are doubling properly!

My dr. had my levels tested because of prior miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy.

I wasn’t told my hcg levels only that they’ve doubled since he confirmed the pregnancy. Like others, mine is checking because I also suffer from reoccurring pregnancy losses. With my first actual full term pregnancy I didn’t see my dr until 8 weeks. Most drs are like that in my area. Mine checked my levels because the last time my progesterone was on the low not really safe side.

I had a miscarriage in September and I requested it to be done since I've shown little to no symptoms.. I had my first blood drawtoday, hear back tomorrow, and have me second blood draw on Friday.

My doctor tested my levels because I’ve had 2 miscarriage and at least one was due to low progesterone.

I went to er on monday due to light cramping and very light spotting. They did blood work there otherwise I would have seen anyone until January.

I got my levels checked because i was in the ER and they were low so my doctor wanted me to come in every two days to see if they were rising

My first pregnancy we NEVER did HCG levels. We didn't even do a urine test. We simply schedule my 8 week ultrasound and went from there!

It was like that for me with my first. This time I had my confirmation at 4+ weeks, but that’s because I had a miscarriage in June. They didn’t check my levels though. Only a urine test.
