Prickly chin after coughing?

Sounds weird but I’ve all of a sudden gotten a weird feeling in my chin/bottom jaw after a particularly bad coughing spell.

For about 5 days I’ve had a bad bark-like cough, extreme fatigue, slight fever, all over aches, sniffly nose, chills, hoarse voice, right feeling in my chest/throat and shortness of breath between coughs- I’m guessing it’s a chest infection or something. I haven’t been seen by a doctor as there is something going around lately and there’s not much they can do for a virus anyways, plus I’d rather not sit in the waiting room and spread it around to people who are already sick.

Anyways just wondering if anyone else has experienced this chin/jaw feeling before or if it may be a sign of something else perhaps? It’s like an uncomfortable feeling on the skin, almost like I’ve rubbed it against something rough, but there’s also an ache deeper inside like I’ve pulled a muscle at the at the bottom of my mouth. Hard to explain!

Thanks!
