Empty Sac?

Hi I’m currently 5weeks 6 days pregnant and had my first ultrasound today at the high risk doctor. They couldn’t locate a fetal pole or fetus in the sac. They did both vaginal and regular ultrasound. Please someone tell me good news because everything I look up leads to miscarriage. I go back in 11 days

I have a crazy story. I went in at 6.5 weeks, sac was empty. Nada. Not even yolk sac. Waited two weeks for confirmation appointment or to miscarry. Went in at 8.5 weeks and EVERYTHING was there on schedule. Heartbeat and all. Left ecstatic. Went in at 11 weeks and heart had stopped a few days after I saw it. I had to have a medical miscarriage. The fact that you have a yolk sac is great. I am sending hopeful vibes! Anything can happen at anytime and all we can do is hope for the best. I like to just believe my body knows more than I do. :-)

***UPDATE*** 
I had some bleeding and went in earlier for another ultrasound. Great news! They saw the fetus with a heartbeat! It was so small that they can’t even get measurements yet. I’m not measuring up with my lmp so I’m not as far along as they estimated. I will have dates next week! 🙏🏻🤔 Thank you everyone for the support!

Same thing here love my doctor said my levels are rising like they should and a little baby should be visible in about a week. He also said if the sac is truly empty your levels will drop and I would naturally miscarry. I was told not to worry until after my 8 week ultrasound if there is no baby or heartbeat then it’s time to worry and talk about options. But perfectly normal to not even see a yolk sac everyone’s body is different

Mine ended in miscarriage. They may be waiting on you to have a natural miscarriage. Pray. That’s all you can do. Hopefully it doesn’t end like mine.
