Anyone else?

Question

Anyone else's guy isn't very involved and feels like the whole pregnancy is a woman thing?
Like.. he's happy to have the baby and happy I'm pregnant but he really doesn't feel the need to be involved.
I feel like with every proof of our baby his enthusiasm grows.. but he doesn't want to read up on pregnancy or didn't want to go with me for my first intrauterine scan.
I think he will be going with me for my second scan though he just didn't expect to see much on it and regretted that because I saw and heard the heartbeat 😍😍😍

Mine was very hesitant on things. He didn’t want to go to my first appointment because he thought it was a “lady” thing. He was happy he went afterward though because we saw baby and heard heartbeat. He went to my next 3 appointments with me because my doctor does ultrasounds at 8 and 10 weeks but I had a third during my 12 week appointment because I lost weight and she couldn’t find baby with Doppler. All was well. He also went with me to the 20 week anatomy scan. He was glad he went to all of those to see our daughter. I think it hits them when the baby is actually born. Because he is in total dad mode now and our daughter is 2 weeks 4 days!

I don't know that he thinks it's a woman's thing, but he SAYS he's excited...and then does literally nothing to contribute and doesn't talk about it at all. I can't figure him out, even when I outright ask he says he's excited but I just don't see it at all. Makes me sad, because this is my first baby and the fact that he hasn't been involved or helped can't be undone - that will just forever be my memory of this pregnancy.
