Holding baby too much ??

Question

Everyone says I hold my baby too much and that I'm going to get her used to it. But I've read you can't spoil a newborn. Is it really bad to hold my baby a lot? I'll feed burp her and have her fall asleep on me then transfer her to her crib for naps. Sometimes I'll hold her while she sleeps for a couple hours. She's my baby, I want to hold her 🤷🏻‍♀️

Don’t listen to them 😂 you cannot hold your baby too much and it’s very beneficial to hold them. People will always complain you are doing something wrong. Keep holding your little one and enjoy it before they are too big 💕

They say you can’t spoil a newborn (first three months), but let’s say you did...big deal. If it creates a habit, you can break the habit later and the world won’t come to an end, baby will be fine. I don’t know many people who say “I’m really messed up, my mom held me too much”. 😉 You only get this time once. Do your thing.

My daughter often gets fussy when she’s held too long 😢 she has a harness for her hips though so I think it’s more to do with her straps being restricted as they’re on her shoulders to hold her legs up.
We’ve got this kind of blow up ring with a hammock kind of top on it - she will chill in there no problem or on her play mat. The only time she will tolerate being held for more than 15-20 mins is if she’s sleepy. 
The only good outcome is that she will sleep in her crib amazingly without issue (consistently sleeping about 10:30 to 6:30)
I just take advantage of my OH leaving early for work so I can pop her in bed with me for an hour for lovely morning snuggles as we’re both lay down 🥰🥰🥰

No! The research you’ve done is updated and correct. You cannot spoil a newborn. In fact, all of those extra snuggles are really good for brain development! Enjoy all that extra lovin’! 💕

I LOATHE this saying.
YOUR baby.
They don't stay like that forever, they say up until 4 months they don't know what getting attentions all about.
And honestly, I'm a needy mum 🤷‍♀️ if it's a rod I'm making for my back then so be it. 
Life is too short and she'll be grown up in a blink of an eye.
All they get out of me is "I can hold my baby if I want to" and stay quiet after that, they soon start fumbling over their words or leave me alone.

I held my daughter all the time! And I didn’t really let anyone hold her! She was my world and I wasn’t going to miss a minute. She is 2 now and I have my 7 week old son. Let me tell you I miss everything about that time with her. She stopped getting less cuddle around 1 and now always wants her daddy. So keep on holding that baby girl!

My baby doesn’t want to be put down at all. Unless she’s dead asleep and is unaware of her surroundings, then i could place her down. Otherwise, she’d be on my chest all the time. I love it and i don’t think it’s a spoilt behaviour. I can’t have this exact moments when she turns older.

Girl hold that baby all you want! I'm trying to get my LO more comfortable sleeping in his crib at night, but for most of his naps and usually half of the night he is right on my chest in my recliner. I often think I'm creating a terrible habit...and maybe I am...but that's where he is most comfortable right now and I love the snuggles ❤️. They're only little once
