For any of you whose baby sleeps through the night, what do you think your “secret” is?
Or do you think you just got lucky?
We have a very good bedtime routine... he falls right to sleep and is put down awake (most of the time).
Our room is pitch black with white noise.
He is offered milk often to encourage him to eat more during the day.
He doesn’t over nap (maybe 4 hours in the daytime max) but shows no signs of being over tired either
I think the regression is over for us? Maybe. He had a week or two waking every 1-2 hours but has now improved to 2-4 hours. A longggg while back he would always do 6 hours the first stretch.
Also, when he does wake up, it’s only to eat. It’s not because he needs to be soothed.
And of course everyone and their mother says “put cereal in their milk”. Part of me wants to try (he is a big baby—already in 6-9 months clothes) but it seems like the research shows too many negatives
