When will I get my period?

Someone please help with what's going on. I stopped taking the pill on November 17 so we can ttc. Unprotected sex since then. November 26-30 I had spotting, dark blood and some pink. Tested December 9, negative. I had a doctors appointment Monday but my doctor called in sick so rescheduled for the 16th. I'm getting so frustrated not knowing what's going on. I just wanna start ttc now but this is happening. My cycles are usually very normal, every 28 days I get af. Never been irregular. Anyone been through similar? Any tips? What happened? What can I do?
