How often are/were your kids sick?

I find myself having to take time off work every three or so weeks because my son is sick. Ear infection, hand foot and mouth, fever, colds, etc. He’s 9.5 months and fortunately my boss is understanding but I feel like I’m the only one with a sick child all the time. Were/are your kids sick a lot?

its better that its early, my daughter was sheltered in my home and just started prek at 4 years old, now....shes sick 2 times a month, had the same ear infected since oct 4th. it comes back every time she gets a cold which is twice monthly. it sucks but i hear its better to get it over with early.

I just returned to work last week and my daughter (4m) started daycare. Had to leave work early on Friday to pick her up and home with her today. We didn't even make it a week 🤦‍♀️

I'm a SAHM and my kids are home-schooled. They do go to play groups and stuff with other kids a few times a week. They are rarely sick though. My youngest is 20 months and he's had an ear infection and thats it.
I have another friend who also home schools and her kids are sick all the time. Like at least once a month they are all missing stuff. I think some kids just get sicker easier than others.

First 5 months we have been sick multiple times. Asthma, RSV, bladder infection, virus, bronchitis and colds

In his first year, he was almost never sick, but he didn’t go to daycare until 7 months and then it was a small, in-home and the lady was a neat freak (almost too clean). Now he’s in a different daycare, still in-home but a few more kids and he’s more active playing with them. He’s sick a lot. My husband and I alternated days off weekly for a while. Two ear infections, fevers, digestion issues from both ends, and a respiratory virus that just would not let go. He’s finally gone a week without needing a nebulizer but he’s also stopped sleeping through the night. It’s been a rough few months.
