Passed out/threw up on a train and cramps

E

This is a long post, so bare with me. I’m going to try to get every detail I can in here to see if anyone’s been through anything similar.

I’m 22 weeks today with my second baby. At my anatomy scan at 18 weeks, the ultrasound tech in MFM told me my bladder isn’t completely emptying and I should see a urologist. I’m on a waiting list for an appointment with that doctor.

Cut to last week. I started getting cramping when I’m waking or moving a lot. Not Braxton Hicks.. but it almost feels like when you try to run a mile, but you’re completely out of shape. They feel like walking cramps. I wasn’t sure if maybe it was just happening when I have to pee. It’s happening all the time, but is def worse when I have to pee. It’s on both sides of my abdomen and can get painful enough that I don’t want to walk anymore.

On Saturday, we went to New York City to see the rockettes. I had a rough day at work Friday, moving textbooks. I wasn’t moving anything heavy, but probably moved around 150 textbooks, 2 at a time. I had a cold and I woke up at 530 Saturday morning since I was so congested. We had to catch a 10:00 train to nyc with my in-laws, so I was pretty much on the go. I had a big bowl of cereal for breakfast, a protein bar on the train, some popcorn and a soft pretzel at the show. We got on the train at 10 & we’re back on the train at 355 to head home. There were a lot of people in nyc and a lot of people on the train & I do suffer from anxiety- just a side note. On the way home, I started to feel nauseous. My husband asked if I wanted to get off, since we were at a stop. I told him yes & he started to walk me off. In the exit corridor of the train, I simultaneously passed out and threw up. When I woke up, I felt gargling and thought “omg am I having a seizure or something?” But my husband assured me I was only out for about 10 seconds and I was just throwing up. I got cleaned up and felt fine. Until I had to walk again and kept getting those cramps. I called the doctor and she told me to take it easy & to go to the ER if anything felt off. The baby has been moving fine & I feel mostly okay.

I made my follow up call today & they told me to monitor my symptoms and they’ll check in with me on Friday at my appointment, but to let them know if anything out of the ordinary is happening, like leaking fluids. Now I’m freaked out because I’m still having these walking cramps from barely any walking, honestly, and my underwear is soaked through. I can’t tell if it’s discharge, or pee, or fluid, or what. I put on a panty liner about a half hour ago. Any tips to know if it’s fluid vs something else?! I’m going to check on it in at 130.

Thanks for reading & for advice. I’m just freaked out with the way the last few days has been going.
