Do you get your boss a gift?

This is my first season as a manager. I've worked at my store for 13 seasons / 12 years though. However, my store manager asked what kind of pie I like. So I was talking to my friend (she used to be a manager here) and she said yes, he'll get every manager a small gift and a pie. So do I get him something as well? I asked a few people and some say yes while others say no. 😬 I suck at these things. Lol.
