I started my son at 4-5 months but I honestly wish I’d waited a bit lol. It wasn’t terrible but he’d get super constipated and the only way to get him to poop sometimes was in the bath. 😂 a couple of times we even had to use suppositories (doctor prescribed).

Yes our doctor said to start off with baby rice cereal add breast milk or formula when they start showing interest in that to go to the baby food fruits and veggies it should say first stage or 4+month just look to make sure your getting the right one

If they’re showing signs (opening their mouths, following food with their eyes and bringing a spoon towards their mouths) then yes.
Otherwise no.
Starting them before they are ready is bad.
WHO still recommends 6 months, new research is saying from 4 months. This is coming from allergy groups though. 
Go with your gut and don’t feel guilty.

Mine was 4 months but not in a bottle. In a jar or a baby bowl. Cause that’s what the doctor recommended and that’s what we did.

I would talk to your ped. With my first who is 5 they said 4 months. With my youngest who is 6 and a half months, they said to start between 5 and 6 months. If you start solids too early it can cause gut issues. I started cereal at 5 and a half months and I only feed him solids 1 or twice a day. When he turns 7 months I’ll be feeding him twice a day oatmeal mixed in with purées because he’s breastfed and needs the iron. Then at 9 months I’ll start feeding him solids three times a day. Babies still need to get their main nutrition from breastmilk or formula

I did and had to as my son was doing 14 9oz bottles a day lol so my HV said to start wearing him , best decision we made. He eats everything now at 7 never been fussy never had stomach issues 
But it’s best to look at your situation, if he hadn’t had so much milk I would of waited until 5/6 months x
