How did you tell your mom?

Ive been struggling with how to tell my mom that when i decide that im ready to have sex that i can goto her for help. My mom is more on the over dramatized side of how some parents would process this kind of stuff. Like im just worried she’ll automatically assume that i’m having sex...which i am but i just want to goto my mom about my problems not my dads drinking buddy’s wife or my best friends mom. This past thursday i had sex for the first time since being on the patch for two months, and got scared because it was the last day of being on the patch before going off for my period and the condom broke too, so i went to my dads friends wife for help, and she got me a plan b.
