Yes but we are dealing with male factor. We did ICSI so our chances for success were pretty good.

First IVF cycles can work and it’s always good to go into IVF with a positive attitude.  However, the first round is merely diagnostic for many and
realistic expectations should be set with your doctor.  So much depends on your personal diagnosis and situation.  I urge anyone starting the IVF journey to avoid comparing themselves to others because that can be disheartening.  For example, I have low AMH and I’m 37 (almost 38).  When I had 6 eggs retrieved I felt like I won the lottery LOL.  For others, only retrieving 6 eggs would be a total bust of a cycle!
