Induction at 37 weeks 3 days

I am being induced on January 8th due to high blood pressure, baby measuring big and having gestational diabetes. I am a ftm and am so nervous. I’m going into it with an open mind because I know that anything can happen. I definitely don’t want a csection, but I know that it can happen so I am trying to accept it, it’s hard. Any stories about induction at 37-38 weeks? I know each pregnancy is different, but hearing others stories may help me mentally about my situation.
