What to do....

So I'm in a sticky situation. I'm suppose to be getting married next month to someone whom I loved with a passion.... I'm also going on 10 weeks pregnant and I live 2000 miles away from my family.
Problem? My fiance has been drinking like a FISH! And when he gets drunk, hes the meanest human in the world. 
He will cuss and swear at me for absolutely nothing and threaten to leave and all sorts of stuff, because he for sure has a problem. 
I love him so much but I'm so protective over our child growing inside me and of myself I dont know how much more I can take. 
I talk to him about it and he promises he will chill on the liquor. My heart is broken as I just sent out our wedding invitations for our jan. Wedding

The wedding definitely needs to wait. He needs to get into AA or some type of program and end the drinking... like now. And if that doesn’t happen immediately, I think you need to move back home until he can get his priorities figured out

Sorry to hear you're going through this. Honestly, the best think you can do is to leave him. Alcoholism is a serious addiction and unless treated, you fiance/soon to be husband might very well turn your life and the life of your  unborn  baby into a living hell. I once had a boyfriend who's father was an alcoholic. It destroyed the family..

Do NOT marry him. You need to have a serious talk with him and if he doesnt change then you need to travel and stay with family. You cant have a baby around someone like that, its toxic and traumatizing.

Don’t go through with it, and not because of the booze alone but because of the swearing and cussing and threatening to leave. He needs to get help, real help. Behavior counselor and to to rehab to dry out, it’s the only way. When someone is that bad there’s no “cutting back” or doing it on their own. 
My husband is an alcoholic and on his own has been trying to get help this last year. This is his battle and I support him. Not once has he ever been disrespectful to me or got angry with me. I knew there was an issue because i saw the empty bottles, but I didn’t know the extent until the beginning of this year.

I would tell him exactly how you feel, that he needs to stop drinking because it makes him unreasonable and angry, or you will call of the wedding and leave him. How he reacts to that should tell you everything you need to know.

Cancel the wedding and tell your partner to go to rehab. If in a year he’s still sober, has changed his demeanor and you’re still together, discuss marriage. If not, walk away. He’s an alcoholic who’s verbally abusing you- I wouldn’t wait or stay truthfully. You absolutely should not be getting married. You realize it’s not just you right? You have a child to protect.
