Baby dropped??

I am due January 22nd but I have been told that it looks like I have already dropped. What do y’all think and if so how long after you dropped did you have your little one?

You can drop any time after 34 weeks (commonly). It's caused by the baby getting into position, which usually happens by 34-36 weeks. Gravity also plays a part, as you get bigger your bump naturally drops lower. It doesn't really indicate labour, some people who carry small will never have their bump drop. Mine dropped at about 38 weeks, but I carried fairly small, I have birth on my due date so at exactly 40 weeks but my son was in position at 32 weeks (confirmed by a scan and my bruised ribs).
