Newborn sleep

Anyone else’s baby having issues sleeping in their bassinet/ crib at night? Baby will sleep in her crib for naps for 3 hour stretches no problem. But once I put her in her bassinet in our room to sleep she will only sleep for 2-3 hours tops or she will just scream and fuss. If I co sleep with her she’s out instantly and will sleep for 5-6 hour stretches. I really don’t want to start the co sleep habit, but she’s only content cuddled next to me.
