birth control

hey y'all, so i've been with this guy since august and we hook up almost every other night, we're not exclusive or anything but i'm not on birth control. should i get on it? we're both third years in college and really responsible, but i'm not sure if we're still going to be seeing eachother after winter break. i've never been on birth control so i guess what i'm asking is, should i go on it regardless if we're still seeing eachother or not?
