Our January baby turned into a Christmas Eve baby

My birth story is not even close to what I planned but I couldn’t have asked for a better birth!

We went into the dr 12/24 to try and turn our son because he was breech, about 5 min into the ultrasound it was pretty clear we were not flipping him he was already to big. We met with the dr who was concerned about our amniotic fluid be a little low, and him being a little big. It was determined that originally they had measured by the gestational sack and there for I was acutely 37 weeks not 36. The dr agreed there was just enough concerns that we should have the baby by c section and we agreed. That was at 1:15pm.

From there it was crazy fast they got us checked in and moved up to labor and delivery and wee wheeling me into the OR at 3:10! And at 3:45 pm 12/24 our son Reed Edward was born at 37 weeks 6lbs 10oz 19in long. He is a healthy happy little man and has no heath concerns!
