I'm so confused as to what's going on. Long story short I'm 5cm dilated, can stretch to 6. My cervix is 1cm long and soft and I keep losing my plug. The midwife can see and feel baby, he's sitting on the 0 scale (not in the pelvis but not in the canal) literally between and she can see that my waters are bulging. She said they're that thin I could probably pop them myself if I pushed them hard enough.

Why aren't I dilating more or having any more contractions? What should I do.
