Baby not babbling?

Question

Are any other babies not babbling? He just turned 5 months but he only squeals, grunts and blows raspberries. Still no “babytalk” type of sounds.(baba, dada). When should I be concerned? To be honest I was kind of surprised that’s a milestone around this time because I didn’t think
Babies made those sounds til around 9 months. He is very engaged and his hearing is definitely okay.

The old school milestones are "walking by 1, talking by 2".
My nurse says most babies try to imitate sounds by 6 months, but not to be concerned if they don't until later on.

I like to say weird random sounds to my LO to intrest him to copy me. I’ll repeat the sound over and over if he is smiling from me making the sound. Eventually he would copy me. But every baby is different he’s been babbling for months. My sisters baby is a few months older and he doesn’t babble, he just grunts, squeal, and another cute funny sound. Don’t stress out but the more you talk to your baby the better.

No babbling here either! Tons of other noises. And she’s almost 6 months. The speech sounds are on a hugeeee spectrum. No worries mama
