Chemical pregnancy??

Hi all,

need some advice. We have been TTC for about a year with no positive results. I got my period as normal last week, this week two days before ovulation I started to bleed again, and 5 days later still bleeding! It is not spotting as I am soaking through tampons and have mild cramps and back ache like a normal period. Is this a chemical pregnancy?? Will call my doctor when he is back working after the holidays- but I need some peace of mind now!!
