PP bleeding

Need advice!

I’m almost 6 weeks PP after having a c section. I bled/ spotted for about 2.5-3 weeks then it completely stopped.

A few days ago I noticed spotting again, and now it’s between spotting and pretty heavy bleeding. I woke up and felt a gush and saturated a pad this morning. It was a mix between old/ brown blood and new blood and now it’s bright red.

Could this be my period? Or am I still bleeding from my c section?

I have an appt in a few days
