Crying while sleeping?

My daughter is 6 months. Sometimes like once in a blue moon when she sleeps I think she like chokes on her drool and coughs and cry’s at the same time, and then gets really upset. It scares the hell out of me. Is this normal?? She’s teething so she’s drooling a lot

My baby gurl use to do that. It scared the shit out of me so bad that I use to prop her up on her side while she slept. (I know it’s not a good idea) but my baby was a little younger than yours at the time. She didn’t roll over yet and she would just lay there. It was just a little prop. That way if she did drool or puke it would poor out the side of her mouth.
Baby’s also have to get use to their fluids and try to control them in their sleep. Do what you are comfortable with! Also talk to your doctor if you have more concerns!
