TTC after miscarriage

So I had a miscarriage on thanksgiving this year, my husband and I had been trying for 8 months and I had a miscarriage after 10 weeks. I have a 5 year old but was on birth control for 4 years, till we finally decided we were ready to try for baby #2.... after the miscarriage I waited about 2 weeks to have sex. I haven’t had a period yet. I’m anxious to get pregnant but have anxiety thinking about another miscarriage. I want to know what helped others after a miscarriage? :/
