self lubrication

so i started having sex about a year ago, and i never really noticed that i couldnt self lubricate that well until a couple months ago when i noticed i was extremely dry. its getting really bad at this point and ive tried everything to fix it, i dont know how to bring it up with my boyfriend its just awkward. even when im horny and we get through foreplay and everything im still kinda dry down there which makes sex uncomfortable.. any help?
