Why were you induced before 40 weeks?

I was induced with my first at 38 + 4 because I had such a high heart rate with chest pain and the non stress test showed baby’s heart rate was acting up too. I was in labor for 4 days before I actually had her. They tried cervadil, pitocin, and then finally the Foley ball which made me dilate from a 2 to a 10 in 4 hours! They kept giving me the option for c-section but baby was fine and so was I so I denied it and got to have a natural birth like I had planned!

I was inducedat 37 weeks with my 5th child due to low to no fluid around her and her not growing anymore. She was born 5 pounds 3 ounces but stopped gaining weight a few weeks before
