So stressed out! My main drain in my house is clogged, if I run my dish washer, flush my toilet, do some laundry, or even take a shower it floods my furnished basement!

I've gotten lucky so far and it hasn't touched my carpet yet, but it's getting worse! I have no idea what to do to fix this issue! I'm so stressed I have a constant head ache.

My basement smells like rotten eggs.. how do I get the smell out if my basement?

Does anyone have an idea how to bypass the ball floater in the main drain so I can snake it? I'm calling a plumber tomorrow if I don't find an answer by then, but I'd really like to keep $200+ in my pocket if I can fix it on my own. I'm also working off an outdated pluming system. My house was built in 53 and the pluming system has not been updated since. So stressful!
