Do you call your MIL mom?

I want to call my MIL mom, and when I’m around my fiancé I do. But for some reason when it comes to actually calling her that in person, I can’t do it and I don’t know why. But it also feels odd to call her by her first name.

I've had the same issue. I absolutely love my MIL and she would flattered if I called her mom but it just doesn't come out.  My MIL's name is Michele, so I started calling her Momchele. She loves it! Can you come up with some kind of nickname like that?

I have the opposite issue. My MIL refers to herself (to me) as mom. It makes me extremely uncomfortable because I have an amazing relationship with my own mom 😏

I love my MIL as if she was my own mother so I always call her mom and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a strange look from her.  My actual mom chose to stop being in my life so it draws me even closer to my MIL. Love her to pieces❤️

My soon to be MIL passed away a year before I met my fiance. Id call my FIL dad though after were married and if she was still in around she would be mom. My dad has always called my mom's mom "momma" and vice versa.

My brother in law calls our mother in law mom.... I don’t. Over thanksgiving he called her mom and she did this 👇🏽
