I can’t date him

So I’m in college and I’ve had my ups and downs trying to date guys my age especially since I’ve always been attracted to guys much older then me. I graduate in May and there’s this guy that I’ve liked and I’ve kept my distance because he’s a football coach at my school. I’m 23 and he’s 35. Well he ended up messaging me on social media and we talked and exchanged contacts and when he found out I was a student (he asked me was I in school) he kind of ended things. I understand his reasons and I’m not upset, he said after I graduate then he’ll consider it, but he can’t afford to lose his job. It really sucks because I’ve been single not dating anyone because In college there’s only guys close to your age and the ones who aren’t are faculty. I’ve been working, going to school, I take care of myself pay my own bills, have my own health insurance and I think I deserve to have a companion. I’m kind of sad but it’s fine. I don’t want to ruin his career.
