Heavy Bleeding just started BC

Hi! So I started taking birth control last Sunday (I was still on my period and it ended Monday the day after). Come Saturday I started spotting (6 days after starting BC). Going on day 3 of “spotting” and it is so bad that I have to wear a tampon. Feels like I have a full blown period. I’ve read it’s normal to spot when you start but it’s really heavy... should I be concerned or consider switching to a diff pill?
