Does It Get Better or Worse?

Question

So my daughter isn't crawling or walking yet, no I'm not concerned, different question, I promise. Right now when I have to go make dinner, go pee, let the dogs out, etc. I don't always carry her around and I'll sit in her the living room with PLENTY to play with, but she just screams. When she does start crawling or walking will she be calmer because she can follow me around or more pissed because she follows me and I don't pick her up?

nope it gets harder lol because then you'll be worried about her falling over, getting into something shes not supposed to.. ect. take bathroom for example. if I go in to pee real quick I set him on the floor. he then stands up and goes over to knock over the shampoo bottles on the tub, pulls on the shower curtain, tries to go BEHIND the toilet for whatever reason, opens the cabinets, pulls up on cabinets (they open so fall hazard 😅) then he gets into the trash.. lol it's harder. I miss the stage when he would just sit. but we hadn't had that since he was 4 months because he started crawling at 5. 😭

Definitely got better for us, she started crawling at 5 months. She’ll whine when we walk away and until she gets to where she can see us again but she’s pretty independent for the most part. I love it. We just baby proofed everywhere she goes so we don’t have to worry about her getting into everything.

My LO crawls and is pulling herself up on everything. It definitely gets harder. We have a walker for her and she loves it and it’s 100% helpful when I’m in the bathroom or doing something where I can’t hold her. We also have the baby gate pen thing but lately she don’t like to go in there unless we’re right there. She follows us around if we just have her on the floor and will say mama or dada until we pick her up. she gets into stuff (try’s too) all the time whether she’s in her walker or crawling around not in her little pen. The only time she sits still is when she’s sleeping and even then she still rolls from side to side 🤣

Sounds like separation anxiety - you will need to help her get over that - Little to do with not being able to crawl

For me is got harder. I am constantly having to keep an eye on baby boy when he is crawling not to get hurt if into trouble and he will call to my feet crying with his hands up to be picked up. No distraction with toys because he can follow mama and demand to be carried. Got to love baby wearing....

It has its pros and cons but once my girl learned when I say "if you want mama, come" for her t follow instead of just scream when I left the room, I found that easier. She's learned to just find where I went. The getting into the dog dishes though - that's another story hahaa I love that she can crawl. She seems a lot happier now that she can go where she wants to go without me and can come with me if I leave the room without holding her.

As someone with a fussy baby who just started crawling recently, it does get slightly better in terms of the whining and crying.. and he is able to stay occupied a bit longer, but overall it's still hard to leave the room anyways because now he's getting into stuff. 
Also, if your babe has separation anxiety, just be aware a new problem arises when they can crawl- my guy will cry and follow me where I go. So, still crying, but also spending his time looking for me 😂
