What have you all decided to use for birth control after baby and why?

I’ve had an IUD before with no problems, but my husband and I do want more kids within a couple years and I don’t know if I want to deal with the hassle of getting it put in and painfully (but supposedly less after babies?) getting it taken out for just a year give or take of use.

I’ve also been on the pill for years before and had some acne issues, don’t know if those would still be an issue now that I’m older and hormones have changed having had a baby. I also know that at first it would be an estrogen free pill while I breastfeed and the time sensitivity mixed with newborn exhaustion seems scary.

Any thoughts?
