I’m 21, but I’ve always had an issue with my weight. Wanted to be skinny. Never wanted to eat. One meal a day at that. 
Me a month ago.

Me in February of 2019!

So, I ultimately ended up getting sick. Passing out a lot. And one day... this guy pops up in my life begging me to eat. Begging to love me. Begging to be with me. And.. well I got myself back to loving myself. Loving my life. How I was blessed after god took away two babies from me & my terrible ex (which thank god that happened) 
And if you can tell in this photo.. imma bit my meaty. I’m a happy whopping 116 pounds. Cheers to that!!

It's a long story, so this is the short version: I was anorexic from 13-18 and bulimic from 18-21. I was hospitalized 3 times for a total of about 6 months. I also self harmed, had major depression and OCD (all secondary disorders to my eating disorder). I had a full recovery and went on to become a clinical psychologist with a focus of interest in eating disorders and anxiety disorders. The combination of my acquired knowledge and personal experience have helped me successfully treat quite a few people with those disorders. I'm 38 now (my last relapse was about 17 years ago), have a healthy self esteem, am happily married and about to give birth to my second child. I honestly find it hard to believe that I used to hate myself and life so much...

When I was younger, I took medicine for my ADD, the medicine made it hard for me to it. I didn't have an an appetite at all. I remember one day at school, I was picking at my lunch and one of the staff sat with me and made me eat my entire cheeseburger. I ended up throwing it up later.. I was very underweight and you could start seeing my bones. That's when my parents took me off the medicine. For YEARS though, I remained underweight and it was still very hard for me to want to eat
