Anybody else have this!?

Question

Does anybody else have a low lying placenta? I was in hospital tonight after having pains allllll day from like 7:30am. And while I was there they told me I had a low lying placenta which nobody told me about at my 20 week scan! Just wondered if anybody else had the same? Currently 24+5 and will be going back for another scan around 32 weeks to see if it has moved??

At my 20-week anatomy scan my doctor mentioned I did, and we would keep our eyes on it. I go back in 2 weeks (27 weeks) for my glucose test and he says we’ll check on it. I haven’t had ANY bleeding so I feel sure it has moved as my uterus has grown larger. And, if it is still low, then it just will change my birth plan.

I had low lying at 20 weeks. Confirmed marginal placenta previa at 24 weeks. Was put on pelvic rest. I’ve had no complications though (fingers crossed). Will check again at 32 weeks to see if it has moved.

I do. For me they told me it was literally touching my cervix, but not covering it. so I also have to go back for another ultrasound around 32 weeks to see if it’s moved up

I do my dr did tell me at my 20 week scan but I also had an abruption at 13 weeks so they keep a close eye on my placenta, my dr told me to stay on pelvic rest for about 2-3 weeks then it should move up but I have not had it confirmed yet and will be asking at my apt friday when in 24 weeks... I do feel comfortable taking myself off the pelvic rest and stuff if I don't have a ultrasound to confirm it
