In need of some serious advice

So about a month ago my boyfriend of almost a year told me that he would like to slow down the relationship. Because of my relationships with men in the past I tend to get clingy and move way too fast. He said it made him uncomfortable for me to talk about marriage and living together. So with him asking that, I did exactly as he wanted. I have not mentioned anything of the sort to respect his wishes. But last night as we were celebrating new years he invited me to come live with him. I’m just hesitant because of what he said a month about and I wouldn’t wanna move in just to have him ask me to leave. Thoughts?
