How to tell if you dropped ?

I’m super unsure on what to look for. My first never dropped (that I’m aware of). I’m not sure what to look for or if it feels any different. Also does dropping mean you’re getting close or does it have nothing to do when you will give birth.

My son dropped like 2-3 times. It just means the baby is lower. Your bump is mostly your baby do if they move lower the bump will, too. If you take weekly pictures you can notice a change.

For me my symptoms are
My bump shrinks alot, my fundal height drops, i feel immense pressure, especially in my butt and tailbone, sex becomes uncomfortable and i get more and stronger BH

Dropping or lighting is the baby moving down towards the pelvis. Often times hard for YOU to physically notice but a lot of times you suddenly can breath and have more pelvic/vaginal pressure. It’s the baby preparing for birth but does not dictate when, most times after dropping, labor will occur 2-4 weeks following
