First time trying medicated ...

So here we are. I’m ten days from my first fertility related apt. I have PCOS and have been trying for over 18 months but only 12 months in my OBGYNs book so now I qualify for treatment. I’m assuming they’re going to put me on something like clomid or letrozole. My insurance won’t cover the medication though and I’m in NY. any idea how much this may cost me out of pocket? And any tips or heads up for a first timer? 😭🙏🏻❤️🥴
