Maternity grant?

Hey guys, so I applied for a maternity grant a couple of weeks ago, I got told they would make a decision after my universal credits. They got back to me after my payment came through and said “you will be awarded your payment in 5 working days, we will make a decision in 5 days” I am so confused?! They have said in the same sentence that they are making a decision and that I am receiving the money... wtf?! Has this happened to anyone and they’ve still received the money? Xx
