I said no because my fiance and i found out the gender through blood test (after my mmc I just wanted to know) but we are doing a reveal cake for my parents.

We did with our first!!! Had a big party and the box with the balloons inside. It was so much fun😀

We do Christmas with my mom on New Year’s Eve. We did a very low key reveal with my twin sister popping a confetti filled balloon after dinner with my family NYE (we told my husband’s family in person at their respective Christmas celebrations). It was fun but not a major event, but my twin cannot have children and so I like to include her in special ways whenever I can. After the reveal, we posted our social media announcement.

I personally don’t like them I’m someone that wants to know anything right away! But when I was pregnant with my son my sis n law kept bugging me about a gender reveal and she’s doing it again so I think I’ll just do one for her lol she has a 9yo son but does not plan to have anymore I think my baby traumatized her since he used to cry a lot before🤣 so I guess this can be her fix haha as long as she pays for everything since I don’t necessarily want one🤷🏻‍♀️

I did a party with my first but I’m not interested in doing that with this baby. I just plan to do a little “reveal” post on social media when we find out.

We are going to find out, and surprise our immediate family with a cookout/dinner/get together. 
Someone I know actually just got confetti cannons and they had a photographer come and capture it. The mom/dad stood in the middle and behind them and to the sides was all immediate family (parents and siblings) each had a canon and everyone shot the same time..the photographer captured everyone’s reaction to the color in one shot and all the colored confetti. 
Looked great in photos. May do this. But have also liked other ideas people have done..

I did a family cook out for my daughter and we shot off fireworks but this time we are just going to buy an outfit for the baby and tell our family that way. No party lol

I didn't do one for my oldest. I just posted an ultrasound picture with his name.
My second we tried to do one, but my sister insisted on being the one to set it up and she didn't do it the way she was supposed to so it ended up being a dud and no fun for us. It was supposed to be a baseball filled with powder. I was going to do it myself and just blend up some blue or pink chalk, but she wanted to do it and decided to put confetti in it. But the ball only broke apart a little and the confetti was too big to come out....
This time my sister wants to do one again, but I'm just not sure. Because this time shes insisting on deciding how it's going to be done and everything because "your idea was crap last time." It's making me not really want to do it. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have gender disappointment if it's another boy (I'm almost certain it will be), and I don't want to have to experience that in front of a bunch of people or try to hide it...
But now I'm being made to feel like a huge jerk for not wanting to do one this time so Idunno what to do 😭
