Eczema help ..

My son got diagnosed with atopic dermatitis.. his doctor just told to me use aquaphor and tbh it’s not doing anything for his skin its so dry and bumpy it all over his body head to toe and she told me she didn’t want to prescribe a steroid cause of the white patches it will cause so I’m lost on what else to do .. I use aquaphor I’ve used hydrocortisone and I bought eucerine baby eczema lotion and nothing is working , any mommas have any remedies I could try ?
