Guest list for sprinkle

Sorry if this has been asked before but just curious of opinions.

My sister is throwing us a little sprinkle for our son on February 16th. We live about an hour and a half at least from family but we are all very close. Aunts uncles and cousins alike even if we dont see each other as much as wed want to. I see my husband's side a lot more than mine. And we are very close to them as well.

Anyway... what are the rules for inviting people to a sprinkle? I know many wont be able to come but I dont want anyone feeling like they were left out. It has nothing to do with gifts.

How do I keep a sprinkle a sprinkle if I feel like I should invite them all out of respect for feelings? Of course I'd love it if they could all come but realistically i know they wont all be able to due to how far away we are.
