APS or Lupus?

Question

Does anyone in this group have antiphosphiolipid antibody syndrome or Lupus? I’ve been told since I was diagnosed that I will never be able to have a baby. Well, here we are and I’m 8 weeks and 3 days, Due Aug 12th, and I’m scared to death. I’m scheduled to go to the high risk on Feb 5th, but at my first visit my OB didn’t even do blood work or listen for a heart beat or anything. This is my first pregnancy so I’m obviously worrying about the smallest things. Anyone have any knowledge because googling it just scares me even more!!

my SIL has lupus and has 5 kids. my MIL has it as well and had 7 kids. they both almost every time gave birth prematurely (32-36 weeks)

How far along were you when you went go your first appointment?

I dont have APS or Lupus but I am high risk due to an extremely rare metabolic disease. 
I don't have any advice as our conditions are different but I wanted to wish you a safe and healthy pregnancy. I know being high risk is scary and having a chronic illness can be isolating.
I was a bit of a Guinea pig with my first pregnancy as there was only 6 other documented pregnancies. My high risk OB was great and I was watched very closely. I dont have a date for my first high risk clinic appt yet (I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow).
