23 hours of labor ended up in C section

Was due 12/30, had my induction scheduled for 01/06 and ended up going into labor on 01/02... TWENTY THREE HOURS of active labor, epidural that only worked on one side, tried absolutely everything. Ended up with my worst nightmare (not a pride thing about having to deliver vaginally, just absolutely terrified of being awake during surgery)... a c section. It was by far the most difficult and exhausting 24 hours of my life but my god, they’re not lying when they say it’s all worth it the moment you lay eyes on your baby. I can’t stop crying I get so emotional thinking about how much I love him. Best day of my entire life ❤️
