Can dogs sense pregnancy?

So I’m at a friends house and their dog keeps coming to my belly going right where my baby is balled up and just sniffs and stares at it so I try to move and he goes right back by it again, I literally have to stand up and walk away for him to stop, and then when I sit down the same thing happens again lol

I honestly think they can. My dog has been super cuddly and is normally really independent, and I noticed with my first pregnancy that our other dog was way more cuddly than usual as well.

I think some can I have a derpy dog so he doesn’t count but the other dog we have has been more Whiney and trying to lay with me when she loves my husband and always wants to be around him

I think so, I have 3 dogs who all have to be touching me at all times lately. They are protecting the Jelly Bean! Lol

Animals have that sense. Everytime I go to where I board my mare theres another mare there named Phoenix who will follow me around. She never did it before I was pregnant. I have too many dogs (I used to rescue before getting pregnant) and my 3lb chihuahua is always near my belly. They sense it and I believe it makes them curious.

My dog ran away from me and wanted nothing to do with me for a whole week before I found out I was pregnant.

Depending on how far along you are, I'm pretty sure they can hear baby, too. My dogs definitely acted like they were "talking" to baby

I really think they can! Our bigger dog started lying his head on my belly and had to be on me even before we found out we were pregnant. I miscarried in early November and he's not like that anymore haha.

Oh yes! My big dog now guards me constantly and my little dog is always laying on me but oddly the cats seem just confused.
